The Bible says a lot about giving thanks to God.  In fact, one has said that the greatest sin is perhaps the sin of ingratitude.

Paul wrote to the Thessalonians saying "in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus", 5:18.  It is easy to thank God in good times.  While the tough times discourage us, let us remember to thank Him for sustaining and seeing us through them.

May we all remember to always give God our thanks.

Years ago, Fred Rogers was on PBS in his show, "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" which began in Pittsburg in 1966 and aired nationally in 1968.  I am confident that he learned about being a neighbor because of his commitment to the teachings of Jesus.  Jesus taught about being a neighbor in the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37.

We want to be your neighbor.  Won't you be our neighbor?

They look excited, don't they?  I wonder what she is sharing with her friends.
